My name is Christine Salazar and I am running for Hacienda La Puente USD School Board for “Trustee Area 3.”

As of right now, the District has not provided resources to be able to look up one’s own address to confirm which Trustee Area you belong to. I will continue to put pressure on our leadership so our communities can be clear on who exactly will be/are their representatives.
Most Trustee Area 3 students and families attend the following schools. If you belong to Trustee Area 3, I want to serve as your representative on the Hacienda La Puente USD School Board.
If elected, I am committing to four (4) Townhall meetings per school year, as a means to address the obvious major issues the current leadership of HLPUSD has in regards to transparency and communication with its constituents. This will be one of the many means I will use to share information and news, upcoming events and most importantly, to engage with not just my constituents, but as well with all HLP communities. These conversations are a must in order to continue to work together for the betterment of our District and communities. Progress takes teamwork and we can do it together!
