I decided to run for school board because the status quo, the disconnect that exists between the current school board and our communities, cannot continue any longer.
I am a proven community advocate who continues to inform the people of Hacienda Heights and La Puente about district issues, and empowers all stakeholders to be included and to seek accountability of their local leaders.
My goal is for full transparency and communication with all constituents, for the well-being of our children and for an equitable opportunity to great education throughout the district.
You should be able to have access to your local leaders and feel that you’re being listened to. You should also feel that your voice contributes to the policies and actions that will affect the youth of our communities.
And I will be that person for Trustee Area 3 and the rest of HLPUSD.
